Chapter 01
Booked by the people who program these rooms
Bill presents regularly at the National Transit Institute's Instructor Symposium and has spoken multiple times at APTA's National Safety Conference. He was awarded the Goldstein Award by the International Problem-Oriented Police Organization for his work on The Corner of Chaos, a transit reclamation program.
He has also worked across more than twenty different industries, which is why a transit audience is not the only room he can hold.

Topics, and how they get chosen
The standing topics are transit de-escalation, conflict management, operator safety, customer service, frontline leadership, resilience and stress management, communication under pressure, and mindfulness in the workplace.
Which of those you get is a conversation, not a menu. Bill will ask what the rest of your program already covers, who is in the seats, and what the organisation is actually trying to move, and then build to that.
Chapter 03
A keynote is not a shortened course
The sixty to ninety minute versions of both flagship courses exist because a conference slot is a different job from a depot training day. The material is selected to land in one sitting and be repeatable afterwards, rather than compressed until it is only an outline.
Where the schedule allows a longer block, the same session runs as a breakout workshop with the room actually practising.
What it costs
Keynote and workshop pricing depends on group size, format and travel, so it is quoted per booking rather than published. Call and describe the event and you will get a number.
