Proven Expertise Since 2010

Bill Parsons spent twenty five years in the situations he now teaches.

He is a retired law enforcement professional, a trained hostage negotiator, a court certified expert witness, a 5th degree black belt and an experienced transit trainer. He has worked across more than twenty different industries, and he built RWC Training so operators would get the part of that experience they can actually use on a moving vehicle.

The record

Where the material comes from.

De-escalation taught by someone who only read about it is easy to spot from the third row. Bill teaches hostage negotiation technique because he was trained in it, and he teaches seated position safety because he spent a career deciding what was reasonable in the moment and then defending that decision afterwards.

Recognised by the industry

The Corner of Chaos, and the rooms that asked him back.

Bill was awarded the Goldstein Award by the International Problem-Oriented Police Organization for his work on The Corner of Chaos, a transit reclamation program. He is a regular presenter at the National Transit Institute's Instructor Symposium and has spoken multiple times at APTA's National Safety Conference.

Paul Henson co-delivers some sessions alongside him. Reviewers name them together often enough that it is worth saying so here.
